Knotfest was a massive success yesterday in Council Bluffs. The inaugural heavy metal music festival was the brainchild of the hugely popular band Slipknot and brought thousands of fans from all over the country. Bands included Slipknot, Deftones, Lamb Of God, Machine Head, Serj Tankian, The Urge, Prong, and Dirtfedd.

The hugly popular DJ, Pretty Lights, will be in Council Bluffs at the Westfair Amphitheater August 25th! Pretty Lights (Derek Vincent Smith) is an extremely popular electronic artist who describes his music as Electro Hip-Hop Soul. Pretty Lights will be performing under the stars at the awesome Westfair Amphitheater.
