The Rascal Flatts will perform July 18th at the Red Sky Music Festival

After a relatively slow Summer of live music, the Red Sky Music Festival is one week away with 3 nights of major headliners.  The 2012 Red Sky Music Festival features Rascal Flatts, Brad Paisley, and Def Leppard.  This year’s festival will also feature lesser-known acts on Stage B, which is free admission.  Ticket prices from our sellers so far have been quite low, with many tickets listed below face value.  It’s always tough for us to predict the market on events like Red Sky, so as we always say, if the ticket prices are low, buy them before they possibly go back up.

First up is Wednesday night (July 18th) with country super-stars, Rascal Flatts.  We won’t spoil it for you, but the Flatt’s set list will blow away most of their fans while they play some of their biggest hits.  Opening acts for the Rascal Flatts are Little Big Town, Eli Young Band, and Edens Edge.  Show starts at 7pm.  Stage B acts (free) start at 5pm and include Logan Mize and The Farm.

As we previously reported, there will be no show on Thursday (July 19th).  As of now, it doesn’t even look like Red Sky will have it’s stage b open, but you should double check with Red Sky officials.  On to more positive news, headlining Friday night (July 20th) is country megastar, Brad Paisley.  If you haven’t seen Brad Paisley live (and you’re a country fan), we strongly recommend making this one.  His high energy show, along with chart-topping hits is sure to please any country music fan.  Opening acts for Brad Paisley are The Band Perry and The Lost Trailers.  The Lost Trailers hit the stage at 7pm.  Stage B (free) acts start at 3:30pm and feature Belles & Whistles, Crossfire, Charlie Worsham, and Kristen Kelly.

Last, but certainly not least, Def Leppard wrap up the Red Sky Music Festival Saturday night (July 20th).  Def Leppard are a classic rock staple, and after seeing them at the Qwest Center a few years ago, I can say they can still rock.  Opening for Def Leppard, is the classic hair band, Poison.  For this show, we have heard from a lot of people who are just as excited (if not more) to see Poison.  Although I have yet to see them, I have heard from many fans they put on a killer show.  Also opening for Def Leppard is Lita Ford.  The Stage B acts for Saturday start at 1:30 and include Marco & Sabor, Toy Box, Moonjuice, and Rock Paper Dynamite.
